The boys wearing 40kg of gear out in the Middle East / Afghanistan must really feel for their colleagues facing the demands of the British April sun for a few hours.

It is difficult to stand still, to be fair he’s Army so probably forgot to move his toes to keep the circulation going.

13 million watched the funeral - so that means 55 million didnt watch it - put that in your headlines instead - its a more spectacular figure and backs up the claim that the BBC have completely mis-judged "the mood of the nation"

The reality is a small percent of the population are massive royalist, a small percent are massive anti royalist and the majority just don’t give a shit. Contrary to BBC BS a vote on the monarchy could really go either way especially once The Queen kicks it.

Depends.  If it was to skip a generation and go to William I could see it's popularity remaining - I could see him as king being as popular as his grandmother.  Charles though would be a different matter - even a lot of royalists don't like him and he seems to be very 'meh' with the population generally.

He's thick as mince and a complete charisma vacuum.

The only interesting thing he has ever said was when he announced he is a population control fascist like his father and grandfather.

Royal correspondents are the most spectaular combinantion of sycophancy and a lack of self awareness.
That twat Witchell has no idea that the people he worships completely fucking detest him.
Your observation is a given but I've always thought that the SCG tribe absolutely detest EVERYONE coz they have a God-given belief that they are top of the pops.
Never understood how any self-respecting journo would want to be 'royal correspondent'.

I'm a bit disappointed the auld duffer's custom made Land Rover hearse didn't lead to a very public and embarrassing mishap TBH.

Did they even take it off road?
