Falkirk v Clyde

What do you think would be value for money though?
I get and agree with all of the opinions about the board and their performance, but at the same time there are not many options for the club to generate income so what options do they actually have?

I am talking about cost generally for all the live steams at every club nor specifically ours. Airdrie for example should have refunded everyone - the quality was disgraceful

Probably the best we’ve played since we last played Clyde in December and yet we still almost found a way of fucking it up. The change of formation made a massive difference to us as did actually having a game plan, for the first turn in months it looked like the players knew what they were doing. A large part of that was down to Telfer and Alston controlling the midfield, I was extremely critical of Telfer last season (justifiably imo) but hes been like a completely different player this season and he’s stepped it up massively these last few weeks. Whilst there were a few contenders he would’ve been my MoM.

Sammon had one of those extremely frustrating days where he shows you that he is actually a football player. If he could keep that level of performance up even without scoring he becomes such an asset he had Lang on toast all day long. Poor performance from Keena but he took his goal well and was extremely unlucky to see his shot hit the bar. Finally signs that there is something there we just need to give him service and was good to see Morrison get back to some form, yes his final ball is poor but his workrate is infectious and playing like that not many defenders at this level will be able to stop him.

Fed up talking about the centre backs so Lewis Neilson with yet another cracking performance. I’d be surprised if he’s not firmly in Utds first team plans next year he just oozes class. He should be starting every game he is with us. On their goal whilst I agree Mutch should’ve done better the boy still had far too much time and space to take the shot really poor giving someone that much time on the edge of our box. I guess I’m in the minority that doesn’t necessarily agree with the comments about him I think he’s still won us more points than he’s cost us this season and I certainly wouldn’t be looking to replace him next season. Also actually think replacing PJ Morrison with a young jobber to sit on the bench was the right call no need to waste the money on someone that won’t play when if Mutch is out you can just go and get a 7 day emergency loan in.

I still think mutch played better when there was more pressure on him to perform. At the moment he has no competition.  You also get the feeling that if it hadn't been for injuries the money saved from a backup keeper would've been spent on someone else that wouldn't have played like McClelland or Deveney anyway.

Season tickets  (and PPV) are worth what people are prepared to pay which suggests to me they got the pricing about right this year given the number of sales in uncertain times.

At the time of season tickets going on sale the Rawlins investment wasn't guaranteed and the majority of fans were prepared to stump up to give us a competitive chance of getting out of the league and keeping the club afloat.

very questionable of course how M&M have spent that money but that's a different debate

So you think we should have signed a keeper that would have challenged him for his place?

Possibly although let's face it it wasn't a priority I suppose. Mind you none of the priority needs got filled really anyway and I'm still not sure mclelland and neilson would be getting as much game time if it hadnt been for injuries.  We badly needed a decent left sided playern that should've been number one but we ended up with Fotheringham whose not really ready to be a regular yet plus he's not really a left winger anyway.  Mutch needs to get his finger out now that's for sure. He's our only option and it's the business end of the season where we can't afford any feckups like yesterday. We need a minimum of 6 top class error free performances from him from now on.

Problem will be next season if we don't go up. Can't see many people wanting to part with the full whack again for another season down here.  Rawlins may need to get his chequebook out to give us a more competitive budget .

McKinnon and M&M both had more than enough backing to get out of this league this season and last imo. Next season does look tougher though - you'd imagine Cove will strengthen, Partick will punt the remainder of the dross that got them relegated and full time Queens Park will be on the scene. I know if we don't go up, it will almost certainly be one of Partick or Cove that do, but still vital we get the job done this season.

Hopefully we'd see not all supporters are like the small-minded morons at the bigot sisters.

I've no love at all for the royals but I wouldn't have booed, I would just have sat and let those who want to respect it crack on.

Agreed.  A lot of fans paid the season ticket top up price as well, which was essentially a donation that helped keep the club going.
