Hertz have blown your theory out of the water somewhat.

There's always an exception to the rule.

Indeed.

And it's nice that the exception to this particular rule are Hearts.

Not sure where the delusion of grandeur perception comes from.  Most Rovers fans I know have a healthy blend of realism and pessimism that keeps our feet firmly on the ground. The Anelka period and the last few seasons pre-McGlynn would have knocked any Billy big time attitude out of all but the completely deluded. We’re always just one bad appointment away from League One.

Saturday won’t be easy, but if we have genuine ambitions to cement a play-off spot then it feels like a must win.  Will likely be a slog as Dick Campbell will have Arbroath set up to frustrate us, but hopefully we have the bit between our teeth after the 5-1.

A draw secures our position in the Championship for next season which is job done in terms of the main priority. Anything else is a bonus.

Agree with this but we are already safe. Arbroath and Morton still have to play each other on the last day so they can’t both get the points required to catch us.

Set up to frustrate you? We’ve not done that in a long time. We’ve been going for it in every game in 2021 anyway.

New lad at Centre half and Armstrong left back?

Ouch.

Armstrong's fine there, just a wee bit wee for back post headers.  Gives you enough in the forward half to make up for it IMO.  Mon.

Bit scary to play a huge game on the front foot but I hope we do.

Thomson overpowering him from right back is a bit of a worry.

New boiler deals?

As McGlynn said recently we're one of the least physical teams in the league but we get more cards than more physical sides. A lot of our cards are for our players complaining about the rough treatment we get without protection from referees. Dunfermline kicked us off the park and at least a couple of their players could have got red; we missed a couple of key players for the Cup because of them.
