Airdrie v Falkirk, 7th April 2021

Recommended Posts

Played well since Airdrie scored to be fair, far more urgency with Morrison and Alston more involved.

The coverage is a disgrace, camera horrific and commentary being ahead means any suspense is ruined. Can't mute it because the camera is so shite.

Could rhyme off a few players who have been poor, but Keena has been a massive disappointment since the restart of the season.

Worrying how poor Airdrie look every time Falkirk are on a counter attack. Other than that, I've been pretty impressed by us, it's certainly a much more open game than I was expecting. Jack McKay is still the clear weak link, we'd be a much better team with Carrick or even Thomson out there.

Howler not even hitting the target there.
Don't want to break ranks but we've actually looked ok the past 5-10 minutes

Yeah we came into it a bit more, started to have more urgency.  Morrison, Alston, Telfer better.

what am I missing with Keena? I’m not seeing much from him over the games since we’ve been back.

Poor performance but we would happily take this If Cove and Thistle stay the same...

You would, you mean.

As soon as we get the ball down and play in around that defence we create chances. We need to stop lumping it down Fordyce and Creighton's throat as that's easy street for them. I don't understand why fotheringham didn't just cross it instead of flinging himself to the floor and he should have done a lot better with his chance but absolutely love the fact the first thing he looks to do when he gets the ball is attack his man. Somebody needs to do Turner in the middle of the park as early on he was running the show.

You're missing the fact he's a poacher so if we don't create him chances he won't get goals. Wasted in the one upfront formation as it's not his game.

Agree Keena hasn’t been great but he’s not a lone striker so hard to judge him too much just now!

I think he needs a partner

League 1 mentality, win will only do.

Nope. Only promotion will do. I don’t want too many of these players next season so only care that we are good enough to get over the line this season.
PS. For players, read ‘bunch of wasters’
