gc_smfc Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 Didn't get stamped going through Paris, nor in Stockholm, but didn't got questioned about it by immigration on the vessel I joined, and they gave me a nice boat stamp. paul-r-cfc Posted April 5, 2021 Share Posted April 5, 2021 I went all the way to Australia and New Zealand without getting stamps in 2017 cos of the automated machines. Had half a mind to turn right around and head straight back to Blighty such was the disappointment.Got one in Houston two years ago by virtue of being a moron who couldn't work the machine, so they sent me to a man who tutted like it was an Olympic sport, before stamping me.Must say I am a massive fan of passport stamps and am pretty proud of the current haul in my British passport. That expires in June though and I'll be on to a shiney new Irish one that I've had a year but not used yet, cos Covid. There were and I think still are anti-government insurgents, so presumed they were on the lookout for drugs and weapons. Zanzibar stamp your passports too when you come off the boat from Dar es Salaam. Despite being part of Tanzania they like to pretend they're a separate country.
