Gaz
No, but it is great. I haven't seen it in years
Steve_Wilkos
I think that you will find that the best film of all time is actually "Beverly Hills Christmas" and that will be the end of this debate.
Jimi Shandrix
It's no Withnail & I. Not even Daniel Day Lewis' best film ever. In The Name Of The Father takes that prize.
Junior Pub League
I'd rather watch Cliffhanger.

You appear to have spelt "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" wrongly here.

In The Name Of The Father takes that prize. Totally agree. ITNOTF was a triumph for both Day Lewis and Pete Postlethwaite. I'd go as far as to put Gangs of New York in front of Mohicans in his oeuvre, despite being expected to believe that Cameron Diaz would ever shag Di Caprio*. There Will Be Blood, mind, can fúck right off. *He'd never have shagged her, anyway - she was thirty at the time of filming.

The sequel to BHChristmas - "This is our Christmas" - is the third best film of all time.
scottsdad
I've never seen the movie but have read the book, many years ago. I enjoyed it a lot!
BFTD
Did The Last of the Mohicans feature a shape-shifting tentacle nightmare monster hunting Kurt Russell? Nope. Didn't think so.

It also didn't feature Han Solo and James Bond fighting Nazis while hunting for the Holy Grail, which is the real best movie ever.

We've been here before. It's not even the best film featuring a paedophile archaeologist in the series. ...but it is better than TLOTM, granted.

Nick_BCFC
I was once talking to the local drunk in the pub about the soundtrack to this film. The guy was off his tits and told me he could play it all on the bagpipes (note this conversation took place in Lancashire, not somewhere you ever expect anyone to have seen any bagpipes let alone claim to play them). The guy could tell I thought he was full of shit and I went to sit down with my drink. He finished his whisky and went out to the car park and into the boot of his vehicle. Two minutes later he walked back in the pub and played The Gael note perfect! Nobody in the pub has ever heard live bagpipes before, including myself. I didn’t realise how loud they were! Turns our he was some sort bagpiper in the army and had performed all over the world and in front of people like the Queen.

The soundtrack is in the top 10 movie soundtracks for sure.
