Or that she's a bigot who I'm delighted to see defeated by a gay man who's stood up for transgender people.
There are even worse things in life than being a soft Tory.

Have we thought about turning that constituency into a safari park if that’s the options available?

Tactical voting. Labour down 14% with both Tory and SNP vote shares up.

It seems like about half the seats the SNP are losing are showing large amounts of tactical voting. Those Lib Dem seats with Cole-Hamilton and Rennie have other yoon parties evapourating despite their national vote share being only down by half a percent.

Didn't happen next door in Ettrick R&B or Ayr, which are the only other Tory constituencies to declare so far. Why would it happen to a large extent in Dumfriesshire and not in similar seats nearby?

Surely the Lib Dems are the vote for areas that would vote Tory but the Tory's are too unpalatable.

Unpalatable or uncompetitive. The Tories never had a chance in NE Fife or Edinburgh Western anyway.

Though I was always surprised the Tories didn't ride to Jo Swinson's rescue in 2019.

Wonder what cabinet job Angus will get?

Put him in education so he can try and resolve Swinney's mess IMO.
