Bailey looking annoyingly comfortable now

If it's Labour who asked for a recount, she'll be anything but comfortable.

If Bailie wins, which looks likely, SNP will get 63 seats imo. Greens will take around 10. In fairness SNP have got around 47-48% of vote, so they take around 47-48% of seats. Its fair i guess, as its a fair electoral system.
Re. Tactical voting, I don't really blame the unionists, the country has decended into Yes v No. Nationalist vs Unionists. Thats it for the foreseeable

If it wasn't a recount and we knew there were 25 votes in it an hour ago why the delay ?

It was always touted to be called around this time if not at 9pm.

I'm always impressed with how well candidates hold it together given they know the result before they go on stage.

Ad Lib in 2015 was fair fun when Jim Murphy got punted.

Depends on the Greens. Have they been over estimated again?

17% to 18.1% in Edinburgh Central. 16.8% to 18.9% in Edinburgh Southern. 6.9% to 8.7% in Edinburgh Western.

Can’t be arsed looking at other regions, but definitely signs of an uptick across Edinburgh.
