You really didn't know before today?

I feel your pain. At least I had plenty of notice and have had time to come to terms with it.

Amongst the usual psychopaths, racists, serial killers and dog rapists on the regional list I spotted a party called 'Abolish The Scottish Parliament!' with 'Save £100,000,00 ! a year!' written underneath.

I feel the claim of such a saving is less than valid, so they did not get my vote. Maybe they should have put it on the side of a bus. I hear that's the perfect vehicle for messages involving financial figures.

Just voted.

Even after all these years, no matter how many times I look at the ballots before folding them I still get the fear afterwards that I’ve somehow voted for the wrong person/party.

One of the advantages of voting by post this year was that I was able to take a photo of my ballots before sending them off. Checked them just now and, despite the crosses definitely being in the correct boxes, I have still managed to semi-convince myself that I have accidentally voted to make Douglas Ross the next First Minister.

Just walked for 10 minutes in the pishing rain to draw a cock and balls on my constituency ballot. An unparalleled commitment to the sacred democratic process there. 2nd vote for the Green m9's

Didn't realise there were so many on the list. Do we really need 3 or 4 boot licking, abolish Holyrood parties ?

Folk should take photos of their various cock and balls (drawings only please) and we could have a competition for the best one.

I like to see candidates like this.  They can, on occasion, steal vital votes from the Tories.

SNP/Green in Rutherglen. Was going to vote SNP/SNP right until I got to the booth when I realised not voting for the party putting the biggest issue to face mankind front and centre of its manifesto because some of them are a bunch of smug specky VLs was a bit boomery of me.

Anyone who didn’t vote SNP/Green or SNP/SNP in the most northerly and southerly regions is a tosser.

UKIP had a candidate too, and under their name was 'Abolish the Scottish parliament'.

UKIP though. Who is voting UKIP these days, especially in Scotland, especially in Dundee? What can they possibly offer? What can they possibly stand for? Bizarre waste of £500.

What's the story with the count? Are there no exit polls? Will we get anything at all at 10pm?

No exit polls, count over Friday/Saturday. Will look for the link someone on here provided what day the constituency will announce the results
