R&Y99
Big game this, we cannot afford to slip up after throwing away a lead against Cove. I expect a really tough game from this one. Hope we go with the same line up from last night.
Fuctifano
I don't, Rudden is suspended so we'd forfeit the game. But yeah that apart the balance of the team was better although Cardle always seems to play better coming on as a sub.
Nightmare
After last night’s novelty of an attacking lineup with everyone playing in their correct position, have we turned a corner and will we approach this one with the same positive intent? I’ll guess no. 0-0.

While this is true, Cardle coming off the bench tends to mean that Connor Murray starts and, goal last night aside, he’s an absolute passenger of Shea Gordon proportions. Cardle is weird in that he simultaneously looks utter shite and also our only attacker capable of actually creating anything. Anyway, throw Graham in for Rudden, and that’ll be that.

Fuctifano
Sorry, I was looking at last week's suspension list. Would still expect Graham to start alongside Rudden tho. Edited March 24, 2021 by Fuctifano
airdrieman
Airdrie 2 (Roy 90+1, Paton 90+5) - 1 Thistle (Cardle 90+3). Red cards for Paton, Ian McCall, Ian Murray and John O'Brien in the commentary box in the immediate aftermath.
airdrieman
In all seriousness, New Broomfield is one of the easiest grounds in the UK for an away team to win at. You could play your supporters' team and you'd almost definitely win. Thistle to win 1-0 after a goal halfway through the first-half and the referee to blow for full-time from there as, once we go a goal down, there's absolutely no point in continuing this farce.
G_H
We've been trash for months. It's Plastic Whistle's game to lose.
FFC 1876
1-1 draw and a Paul Paton red card.

I guess me would take it every week if the passengers score. They have scored 3 of our last 5 goals
Chapelhall chap
It seems so long ago from that loss at Firhill, and in the usual cliche that's a game which could have seen a different result. However our home "form" is so dire and unattractive, except when Clyde turn up, then I am going for a boring draw. Probably by Friday I will be more optimistic so I reserve the right to revisit.

JagsCG
I hope for a 2-1 Jags win but think it’s more likely to be 1-1.
airdrieman
Hopefully this time it will be Ian McCall giving the expletive-filled rant tomorrow.
