Dundee vs Dunfermline Athletic - 27/3/2021

Recommended Posts

Very entertaining half. The standard (Wighton finish aside) has been chronic. Its genuinely eye bleeding stuff but it's fun eye bleeding stuff.

Dundee are probably unlucky not to go in level at half time but let's be honest, who really fucking cares?

I’d rather we don’t finish in the playoffs to be honest. We’re fucking rank rotten and would be pumped out of them anyway. And imagine if we managed to fluke promotion? This team wouldn’t get a single point in the Premiership

Elliot and Fontaine absolutely horrific for the first.

Ashcroft embarrassing for the second. Two cracking finishes tbf.

Meanwhile, instead of addressing the chronic defence, McPake was apparently trying (and failed) to sign Scott Allan.

Are you suggesting Dundee wouldn't make a single signing if you got promoted?!

The only way we'd get through the playoffs is if they change the manager

Couldn’t agree more. Do we practice not passing it to each other? Fucking diabolical. 2 really good goals from Dunfermline, sure defenders could/should do better but brilliant finishes. We’ve battled back though and all results are still possible.

We've got the basis of a semi-decent top flight squad. Some horrific players needing punted and replaced but with the likes of Cummings & Adam being top 6 quality it's not like we'd need to get rid of even 50%.

The manager, defence and balance are our major issues.

Who looks at this Dundee side and thinks "Mullen should be taking the free kicks?"

Probably Mullen mishit a worldie in training that was reported back to McPake.

McPake wouldn't have seen it himself due to the fact he doesn't see anything on the pitch apparently.

Good finish by Craig Wighton however.

I’m suggesting that we’d still have McPake and I wouldn’t bank on his signings making us any less shite
