Govt have got their anti strike bill through the Commons, and it will now pass to the House of Lords.

Hopefully it will get shredded in the Lords, when even the Tories are saying it's badly written you know they have rushed it far too fast.

The UK is the only country in the G7 in recession.

Grocery price inflation at a record 16.7% high.

The UK now has it's worst ever score in a Global Corruption report with Denmark the least corrupt nation and Somalia bottom.

And what are the Tories doing?

Well the main call among the tory voting scum is a call for tax cuts.

All the above garnered from the tory loving Daily Mail online this am.

You couldn't make it up.

The CBI has been out in force talking about a lack of capital investment holding UK industry back. The BBCs main headline about a speech the chancellor gave was about there being no room for tax cuts in the budget.

You can be absolutely sure that there will be new tax breaks for the rich in the budget. It will be something dry and technical sounding like lifting limits and restrictions on EIS. There won't be any cuts in VAT or duties that could actually help people who need it though.

The tories are out whatever they do so they need to pay their masters while they can.

Jacob Rees Mogg talking about the bullying allegations against Dominic Raab.

Quote

“We have to be slightly careful around the bullying allegations but also we mustn’t be too snowflakey about it,” he said. “People need to be able to say this job has not been done well enough and needs to be done better.

“It’s a very difficult line to judge. It is not a straightforward issue in most cases. It is ‘how did someone react, what did somebody say, is it reasonable to demand from senior and well-paid professionals a level of good service’, and then you have to judge whether that line has been overstepped.

“But I do worry that we are getting a bit snowflakey about this.”

He added: “I think it’s completely sensible that the lord chancellor remains fully in post while the investigation takes place and then the prime minister makes a judgment as to whether or not these allegations are serious or not.”

Rumours swirling that an announcement on a massive programme of crematorium building across England is imminent, to both cope with the rocketing death rate and boost the economy.

Is cremation exothermic?

could help reduce our reliance on Russian gas.

I don't know but Craigroyston's ground is next to Warriston Crematorium and is often playable when other Edinburgh grounds are off.

On a similar distasteful theme there were reports of the Russkis using mobile crematoria in Ukraine. This could be an opportunity for Uber "Granddad's croaked. Phone up Uber for a mobile Crematorium and we can put him on the roses"

Is there no end to tory MP's trying to access taxpayers money.

Knowing that in the next general election many tory MP's are due to lose their seats a committee has been set up to feather their nests.

The committee, obviously chaired by a tory, is asking for departing MP's to get a medal and a six figure golden handshake to soften the blow of losing their jobs, plus they want specialists to help them with mental health problems they may develop.

Have these fuckin dogs no shame.

I can imagine the scramble and pay offs for a Lords appointment also.

Maybe they will use it as a precedent for a loss of job compensation scheme and benefits package for all other workers in all other sectors of the economy who get booted out for bad performance? 🤔

Except, of course, that in order to qualify for that state benefit the ex-MPs will have to register at the local job centre and accept the first minimum wage job they are offered. Lead by example, I say.
