Salt n Vinegar
Meanwhile, in the latest episode of fantasy island, levelling up might not be about what people thought it was about... "The south-east of England, the most affluent region in Britain outside London, last year received almost twice as much money as the north-east from the government’s levelling up fund aimed at boosting deprived areas. Projects in the south-east benefited from £9.2m from the fund in the year to 31 March 2022. By comparison, the north-east only received £4.9m, despite being the poorest region in Britain by disposable household income." (From the Guardian at https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/sep/04/revealed-levelling-up-fund-allocated-south-east-twice-as-much-as-north-east) No, no, nothing to see here, move on now... People definitely get the government they deserve. There should be a large, large number of Conservatives in jail, including every single current MP and every single one for at least the last decade. But other than continue to push for independence, what can we realistically do?

But other than continue to push for independence, what can we realistically do? We can start shooting people. Not sure how realistic it is but it’s surely an option to consider. Maybe we can appeal to all Independence supporters with terminal illnesses, and therefore little to lose for help? Is that too dark? No, I didn’t think so either.

After all, the top tax rate is now only back to what it was under New Labour so that much of a big deal.
