Would be good for SPFL (and any fans below tier 5) fans to get together and pick one game over the season to pack out the grounds of all the good guys. Get them a 1000+ crowd for one home game and give them a wee financial boost as a thank you for doing the right thing and standing up for sporting integrity. Anyone up for that?

Bo'ness vs Bonnyrigg or similar

Have they actually published a list of requirement of the Colt teams involved

Age restrictions & contract conditions, ie can they only play for either the colt team or the main side without chopping & changing to suit. If an injured first team player was coming back from injury they should not be able to use colt games to gain fitness.

Are the colt teams playing for points or experience

Will colt teams be following normal fixture list & where are games going to be played

Are the colt teams going to earn prize money for league places

Will this be for one season without pursuing further league involvement

Good shout. One home game each where it's goodguy vs goodguy. Would let us spread out the games a bit once fixtures are announced.

Was also thinking of setting up a gofundme where folk who can't make a game can donate and split it between the goodguys.

I don't suppose the lowland league have thought to ask Rangers and Celtic what their plan is for the following season?

The lowland league will look incredibly stupid if Rangers and Celtic Colts attempt to gain a League 2 place on the back of this, denying places to lowland league sides.

The OF would 100% see the LL, the pyramid and all it's clubs in ashes if they thought it would give them the tiniest benefit. They don't want to be in the LL. They want to be in the SPFL and will happily block LL entry if they could.

Donate a ticket has the clubs on it and don't take a cut

Cool. I'll stick some posts up on the various boards and try to drum up a bit of support for this. Ideally it'd be games early in the season where the good guys are playing at home to one of he wanks.

I'd hope a lot of fans would be happy to do this and show solidarity with these clubs. It'd be a good way to publicly and vocally show opposition to the colt sides across Scottish football and show the clubs who're willing to stand up to them that they're supported.

Hopefully there will be a game between 2 good guys before the SPFL starts so there can be a large turnout of fans from other clubs!

Still to questions to be answered.

That would be spun as   "OF Colts attract big crowd to........"    best avoid games involving them completely and concentrate on GG v GG.

Also remember there are EoS and WoS clubs who would welcome the extra support through the gate if you have one local.

Small thing but maybe something to ponder since the LL Board are off thinking about LL2. Maybe the WoSFL and EoSFL should form their own Development Leagues instead of playing under the Lowland League banner. They make up the majority of members and they are already split regionally after all.

Plus going by the Colts Proposal it doesn't exist to them as there's no player pathway between u18 to the 1st team.

I think he meant opponent of the plan v supporter of the plan.

Very good point.

I also heard (it may or may not be true) that the LL U20's and the U20's from SPFL clubs, are to be placed in their own Conference for next season rather than a geographical split with all clubs included.  As I say, may not be accurate.

A vacuum caused by clubs like Rangers walking away from the reserve league.

That bullet point is rage-inducing. Read it back. It says absolutely nothing. It's the sort of thing some moron middle manager, who's been promoted well beyond their capability would say.

A 1 year pilot project to give full-time professional footballers a season in a competitive league structure.

The clubs are not entering the pyramid / pathway, as such.  Promotion / Relegation will not be affected, therefore it will have no impact on the leagues above or below.

Is that more or less correct?

I have no idea how to organise something like this. But you've had the idea, and if you have any kind of contacts or means of doing this, I'd suggest you do something to set it in motion.

It could be a very powerful statement.
