Maybe what they're doing isn't as smart as a lot of people seem to think. Maybe people don't actually have any interest in supporting some made up vanity project of a club with a silly name and an app.

Not everything different is innovative.

Therein lies the problem with football and fans in this country, anything that’s new and different = Bad. Let’s face it the clubs with lots of history and tradition are mostly on their arse, and are crying out for money, so why not try a different approach?

People can try whatever they want. Nobody's under any obligation to praise them for it.

If people actually wanted what CB are offering, they'd take it. Maybe you're just wrong on this one?

Nobody is asking for praise, I think what would be a pleasant change would be for people to let them get on with it without constant criticism. I don’t see how it harms anyone or interferes with their own team’s affairs, if it works it works, if it doesn’t at least they tried.

Which they are trying to do something about.

Did they give you a free season ticket for the dodgembowl?

Good because they dont deserve praise. It interferes and harms other peoples teams when the twit who runs it votes fucking b teams into the pyramid and fucks it for about 200 clubs in the leagues below. I hope their app gets a virus and they cant vote on what to call themselves next week.

Well that’s obviously BS,   There has been massive changes in Scotland in the past few years mostly progressive mostly positive and embraced by the majority.   Fans are very keen on new plans and ideas when they are good. They hate new shite plans and ideas,  same as they love good traditions and hate historic relics.

What massive changes are you referring to?

by far the largest amount of teams joining the senior system in history might be one

And yet we populate a forum where most people criticise the senior system and the people who run it.

You do know the pyramid has been talked going back decades by the top brass at every level including the hierarchy of Scottish Junior football.

Going back to 2002 the Super Leagues in the Juniors were set up in preparation for the pyramid.

A certain chap paid official in the SJFA hummed and hawd for years till the powers that be said feck this for a game and set up the Lowland League minus the Juniors.

The rest is history.

I don't blame boys clubs for filling the vacuum.

I don't really care if a made up outfit like Caley Braves make up the LL numbers.

Let's see how it pans out for the likes of Caley Braves in the years to come.

Interestingly Caley Braves didn't let their fans vote on the increased relegation last season which ended 8 for and 8 against but they could vote on just about anything else.

I think the 8-8 vote was on B team entry

What harm is the criticism doing you? None. But you still feel the need to jump in and defend them. You've got an opinion. Other people have other opinions.

Bollocks. There were a few of us that defended CB and Podcast when they 1st appeared.

Since then they've proven to add nothing and are only interested in getting to rub shoulders with their big teams' members

What do other teams add that they don’t?

BSC Glasgow (aka Podcast) - started claiming to be a continuation of Broomhill Sports Club and based in GLASGOW. Got up the noses of Maryhill, lost Lochburn, played out in Alloa while claiming to be "looking for a home", even though they have very good investors in high places they STILL don't play in Glasgow and are title sponsored by a podcast (which I thought was against the club naming rule)

Caledonian Braves - started as Eduaport with some weird setup of French students playing for a clubs that supportors can run online. How many French players do they have? How is the online model going? See Ebbsfleet for more info on that model.

Some other clubs formed around the same time...

East Kilbride - meh, they are based in their town, almost and apart from voting for the colts they've been ok

Edinburgh South - still ground sharing, but got a decent, local group of players and not exactly got a lot to work with

Tweedmouth Rangers - own ground, amazing improvements. Took a few cricket scores till they found their feet but can be proud of what they've brought to the EoS.

There's 3 clubs that have brought more to the table than CB and Podcast. Also look at Division 4 with a few new well-run clubs finding their feet there. Easterhouse have probably impressed most with their background work and setup getting Stepford turned around so quickly

're Div 4 agree wholeheartedly with you on Easterhouse and just want to add about the others.

Thorn have an excellent facility with further potential in Johnstone.

BSC, gonna drop the Glasgow and just call yourselves Broomhill please have always disliked Glasgow being used by Sports Clubs, likewise at Peterson.

Both West Park and the Real Rossvale utilising Huntershill, don't know personally what plans they have for it's upgrade.

Again Glenvale at Ferguslie and Kilsyth at the Sportsfield both trying to make them into venues to be enjoyed.

And finally Giffnock taking over the mantle of Harmony Row, again at a facility with potential.

Eglinton already making good use of Kilwinning Club.

Threave already have an excellent set up which only enhances the West.

Don't know what St.Peters have planned or if sharing NWP is long term.

The Pupils unfortunately have no info or knowledge on them

This is the pyramid working let's keep it growing.

Which is all great but i'd quite like to see the other end of Wosfl moving up and out to pastures new.

If there's no movement at the top then it's just the old Juniors with add ons.

Also add Bo'ness Athletic and Gartcairn to that list.

You can even put a case for Drumchapel although they aren't exactly "new".

All of them have brought more to the Scottish game than CB and postcast.

Rothie Rovers are smashing it up in the North Juniors. Great setup and good guys who have seamlessly stepped up added something.

Loch Ness... and the NCL revival. Inver-fking-gordon in the Scottish Cup!

There loads of new thi gs that have happened recently that have been amazing. CB and Podcast have not been...
