Celtic and Hearts B Teams in Lowland League?

tbh I don't have much of a problem with them moving it, as it's a bit silly for it to be scheduled on the same date as the OF game, and clubs can surely move them if both agree (see clubs in the WOS moving to Friday night). Though if it's against the rules then they should really be enforced...

Exactly.

What a bunch of absolute mugs the lickspittle clubs are. 🤣

Or just maybe somebody engaged their brain and thought mm ,  Old Firm game at 12.30, might not be best idea to gather their supporters again at 3 . If that needs explanation,  heaven help us.

Agree original scheduling not a good idea in first place.

Intend to play during the winter shutdown apparently so they get a good crowd.

Pays the 40k bribe to the LL then !

When they play it is another issue, not playing it right after an OF game surely common sense.  Can just imagine any spill over from game at 12.30 would be jumped on, rightly so.

The fixtures have been out for ages though, why leave it so late and still not have a new date for it? The B teams are a shambles of an afterthought and show disrespect to the league.

Despite the original fixture list plenty of games have been moved off times and dates.

These are games that have been moved off days, often left off the calendar with no date rescheduled, and of course change grounds. Announcements of the games being postponed happening the week of the game.

It's the pretence of it that annoys people more than anything.

Just imagine how powerful Liverpool could become if they had a B team playing the likes of us lot instead of stupidly loaning them out to fellow league clubs.

Aye they may have hit double figures if some of the players had learnt their trade in the lowland league 😀

Given the performance of Celtic, Rangers and Now Hearts in Europe then it’s obvious that the experiment of their B Teams in the Lowland League has been an abject failure.

From next season, they should be installed into the SPFL Championship so they get an appropriate level of competition.

The Lowland League have done their bit to try and improve Scottish players and now time for the SPFL and SFA to do theirs.

The first teams or the B teams?

Sarcasm doesn't work well in print.
