What news!!!

I'm not sure tbh. The link doesn't quote anyone and it says it's sourced from the Scottish Sun but I can't find any mention of it there. Wholly believable though.

It’s interesting to see what is spouted about L1/2 clubs - who have never to my recollection been asked to consider any reconstruction linked to the pyramid without colts/B teams being the main driving force behind the initiative.  They have consistently said no to that aspect.  Then you get the claim that they act en bloc - when in reality L2 clubs have managed to put their differences aside to try and reach a consensus on most matters which involves give and take.  What is the pyramid view of full time clubs like Dunfermline and Falkirk; of the clubs who have come up such as FCE, Kelty, Bonnyrigg; Angus clubs; supporter controlled/influenced clubs, etc?  They are not homogenous but colts/b teams being forced on them along with cash incentives hasn’t been well received in the past

It's very misleading tbh.but the lowland league have not asked for reconstruction of the league either. at the meeting with Ian Maxwell we cited doing away with the play off against club 42 for the winner.the review he spoke about covered that along with other items.where any future colts team s should be placed.that sun item is a old publication from last year.the spfl 1&2 clubs meet monthly by zoom and have done so for a while.

You think any plan to get b teams in the league would need the the highland league to accept the north club b teams.

it’s just never going to work nor should it.

Just get them out into some reserve league

So Maxwell and Doncaster who bang on about the fans and how important they are continually make proposals for reconstruction that involve Rangers and Celtic Colts completely ignoring the fans of LL and L2 who are overwhelmingly against their inclusion.

Anyone any idea why that would be ?

The 'beaks' conveniently understand the view of the fans to be an aggregate. So the views of 100,000 Old Firm fans are more important than the ~5000 who regularly attend League Two games.

Whenever they need to confirm this, they can churn out a survey that asks some fat bigot without the bus fare in Fraserburgh about whether 'the Gers' should get their rightful second spot in the SPFL.

Here's a devious question...

You have the opportunity and wherewithall to kick-out the OF to say, the EPL... the only proviso in doing so is you have to accept the OF Colts into L2.

Wwyd?
