GNU_Linux
Educated guess might be the three leagues lodging a notice of complaint to the SFA. Update: rumour is that the EOSL, SOSL & WOSL are exploring invoking article 99.4 of the SFA articles of Association Where a player, official, referee, club, league or association has the right to refer a dispute to any recognised football body, then such dispute shall be so referred to such recognised football body and any appeal shall proceed in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 14 of the Judicial Panel Protocol. Similarly appeals against Determinations of a Disciplinary Tribunal, disciplinary committee or a Club Licensing determination shall proceed in accordance with the relevant provisions of Paragraph 14 of the Judicial Panel Protocol. Where such a right of appeal exists to the Judicial Panel or tribunals appointed therefrom, then such matters shall not be referred to arbitration under this Article 99. We know that Bonnyrigg, Bo’ness, East Stirlingshire voted against the proposal for guest clubs in the LL. Berwick abstained. I have not seen any mention of the 4th(good boy) club that voted against the proposal? Anybody know? C’mon The Rose At a guess I'd say Civil Service Strollers. They have been very outspoken against this last year and from having been there and spoken to a committee member, I'd be surprised if they changed their mind. Interesting to note that the clubs named so far who either voted against or abstained are ex juniors and ex SPFL. Would be ironic if a measure brought in during the Alan MacRae era to block top junior clubs from getting licensed ultimately returned like a boomerang to open up the LL. Whatever the angle being argued is, it's worth pursuing to highlight the issue even if it's a longshot in terms of actually succeeding.

Would have thought it would be more around the guests team than the promotion/relegation places.I can't think of another league that leaves two open spaces for guests teams at the expensive of clubs in the leagues below.

Che Dail
Some of the Braga team that beat Rangers tonight gained experience in B-Teams: Fabiano (Braga B - 22 apps) Carno (Braga B - 4 apps) Al-Musrati (Vitoria de Guimaraes - 40 apps) Ruiz (Barcelona B - 68 apps) Mederos (Sporting CP - 68 apps) P. Oliviera (Sporting CP - Vitoria de Guimaraes - 22 apps, and Sporting CP - 2 apps) V. Oliviero (Brage B - 15 apps) And Karim Benzema, who scored 3 for Real Madrid against Chelsea last night - he played 20 times for Lyon B team. It'll never catch on here though -

What’s it supposed to prove? Most of the Rangers team that cruised past Dortmund 2 rounds ago didn’t play for B teams. Top tier players such as Kevin de Bruyne and Harry Kane have never played for B teams. See, I can pull facts out of my arse as well.
craigkillie
I'm sure those 4 games for the B team were what made "Carno" the player he was today.
Marten
Portugal has had B-teams for decades, there is no reason to assume these players wouldn't have broken through if they were in a reserve league or out on loan instead. You should compare a country that introduced B-teams in the not too distant past. Like The Netherlands, where the national team has been pish from 2014 (compared to where they were before). None of the big Dutch stars in history came through B-teams.

It'll never catch on here though Usually you try and make convincing arguments around B teams, but this just looks like one of the responses you would receive in return. Bunch of players making less than a half season worth of appearances. The majority not even playing for the 1st team of where they played B team football. Quite a few having longer loan spells
FairWeatherFan
Quotes from Robbie Neilson they're looking at the Lowland League in the absence of a Reserve League. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hearts-lowland-league-plan-gets-26661874 Also a mention that the entrance fee has been bumped up to £40k. Proving that the Lowland League is just trying to get as much cash as they can despite this already being a financial success. Hopefully Hearts actually put a bid in since 3 into 2 won't fit.
the jambo-rocker
I don't want our reserves in that abomination of a league period, and it really should be on the SPFL to try and get the reserve league back in action. I hope this applying for it is just a ruse to get the reserve league back. If anything applying for this will hopefully further shine a light on showing the league for gang it is, or completely dreaming here, they bump another LL team to facilitate us. Now that would be something Edited April 8, 2022 by the jambo-rocker

That’s the only “good” thing to come from another team applying. It will show up this absolute farce even more when the LL have to “decide” which 2 teams are getting in.
Marten
Can't we just crowd fund £ 40K to apply and end up playing LL with a bunch of people from P&B? Could be a good laugh.
