Relegation Showdown - Ross County vs Kilmarnock

Recommended Posts

Again, in normal times I agree with you. Have you watched any championship football this season? None of those clubs are going to be in a position to challenge whoever comes down. Its pandemic related, I appreciate how challenging a division it usually is.

The same pandemic related reasons are going to apply to Premiership clubs, and we didn't get free money from the government like they did.

If you go down will Wright keep his job? Did he not sign on til 023?

I thought he'd be a decent appointment, but Kilmarnock performance was far worse than the other times we've played youse this season.

Mckay hitting form would be ideal for us just now, best finisher at the club by a mile. Spittal impressed me again on Saturday too. shocked at how good he's been since he's come back.

Donaldson can go, I don't care where but please just go.

I think he deserves a chance regardless of what division we're in next season.  If we do get relegated, he'll have had 11 games and no transfer window, think it'd be a bit harsh to bin him on that evidence.  I'll be honest though - I absolutely did not expect us to get just 1 point in his first 5 games, particularly when you think we played Motherwell, Dundee United, and County in that time.

Even Jamie Lyall had a (light hearted) swipe in commentary on Saturday at Donaldson. Had a chuckle to myself.

Yeah. Bad teams who give Billy Mckay his confidence back are a godsend.  Was it Dundee United, a couple of years back, who decided not to mark him for 90 minutes and he scored a hat-trick?  He went on to score a barrowload after looking like he’d never score again.
