I don’t think there is much between the two, but Shaugnessy has the abilty to glide through a game for 89 minutes like Sergio Ramos and then do something ridiculous, as we’ve seen a couple of times this season with red cards and short back passes. McCarthy is a much more consistent player, they make a very good partnership for a team at our level.
