Dundee FC vs Queen of the South (20/02/21)

Recommended Posts

Giving too many corners away,  not exactly as comfortable as the score suggests for me.  I hate to see the opposition given the freedom of their own half to build attacks. Luckily,  so far,  Dundee have been poor in front of goal.

Meltdown

In what way?

We've been complaining about McPake since last season but Nelms does nothing - Nelms clearly is not paying attention to what is happening on the park.

He needs to be told in no uncertain terms how the fans feel.

Alloa and Arbroath still level in their games and ICT winning - really need to hold on here.  Worried about all the Dees possession/crosses into the box.  Ferguson has done well with crosses so far though.

Some effort from the players again that first half.

We’re down to the bare bones a with a ridiculous number of injuries, but game plan has been so effective again. Joseph has held the ball up well against players at least half a foot taller, Jones has looked dangerous and Gibson has went forward down the right hand to get us up the pitch. Like others, felt like East is a bit of a weak link in the side but what a ball that is for the second goal.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Dundee get back in it though as they look more dangerous than Inverness did. Nortei needs to just try and man mark adam out the game and Jones and maxwell need to stop the balls in down their side. Worry we might tire second half given the trip up to Inverness midweek.
