Stones being cast at glass houses there.

Both the fouls won prior to goals looked pretty clear fouls to me to be honest, both rash challenges by the Livi players.

the first one is a ridiculous challenge...absolutely no need for ATS to make it. The second one is 100% bought. It doesn't look like there's even contact let alone a challenge from Bartley, he's running past him when the St Johnstone player falls over

Bartley clipped him I think. He went down easily but Bartley would’ve done exactly the same in that situation.

I'm also utterly baffled as to what Jack McMillan has to do to get a game, as he's an infinitely more stable option at LB than Longridge. I'm hoping (or praying, rather) that Martindale pulls a rabbit out of the hat with Jacko but for now McMillan deserves a chance, particularly if Serrano is out for the next week or so and/or punted up to LW.

I've been wondering that; McMillan may not be spectacular but he's steady and reliable. I would have thought he's deserved a shot particularly with ATS already on the field.

Spoiler

I thought we were poor for 80 minutes and only came back into the game after the penalty save. We could have nicked a draw at the end but that would have been unfair to St Johnstone who thoroughly deserved the win.

We looked tired with players out and the replacements not being brilliant. Our free kick delivery wasn't great and I thought Stryjek was too far to the right in his position for the 1st goal but it was a helluva great strike by Tanser.

The loss of Guthrie was key as ATS didn't look comfortable at all and was bailed out a couple of times by big Effy.

The St Johnstone defence coped well with Robbo and only looked under pressure when our big haddy JET came on.

Well played St Johnstone, I enjoyed the nice attacking play on the wings from you. I just hope at the end of the month we look a bit fresher and get the final win.

How does that explain May and Hendry though, who are currently shadows of what they can be?

Seen a former Blackburn coach on Twitter, when he was being linked with Aberdeen, say that Hendry was constantly getting individual coaching but just never picked anything up. Seemed to know he was technically/physically up to it so didn't seem to care about learning anything else.

I think May just doesn't suit being a lone striker so looks shit when used as one. He even struggled in his first spell with us when MacLean was out injured.
