AFC360PUNK1320
Just listened to the Pars Manager Crawford's meltdown interview on the DAFC web-site LOL Just read the Pars fans meltdown on those pages LOL. Have you never flown a kite in Dunfermline then? 36-0.
stan3600
The wind is a bit of a leveller, no doubt. Some of the Pars silky skills (???) were negated. Their manager and players showed why they’re not going to get promoted this year. They’ve not got the right attitude.
Mexico
This has happened a fair bit since we came up to this league, Managers & Fans of “bigger” clubs are happy to give patronising sound bytes about us pre match and when we win, the toys are right out of the pram, sometimes even sacking their manager it’s so unbearable.
lichtgilphead
For all the Dunfermline fans' nonsense about being a bigger club, where did they finish in the official Championship table last season (Hint: Arbroath were fifth) Edited February 7, 2021 by lichtgilphead

DAFC.
For all the Dunfermline fans' nonsense about being a bigger club, where did they finish in the official Championship table last season (Hint: Arbroath were fifth) Need to do better. That’s straight out the Kirkcaldy book of fishing. About the earlier comment regarding attitude and promotion: we have now lost the exact amount of games as Hearts, who are cruising it. Yesterday was just a symptom of our season. We have drew far, far too many games which could cost us a healthy finish. I am confident we can get a play-off place, but in no way am I confident about making the final if we finish 3rd or 4th. I thought Wednesday was going to be a change to the norm, obviously not and we’re back in the shit again. We’ve made it very difficult for ourselves again after that result, which is usually the Dunfermline way of doing things. If we are going to finish 2nd, we’re going to have to do it the hard way but a complete dip in form isn’t off the cards resulting in yet another season of complete abject failure.

That’s so very Crawford. It can go 2 ways from here. We ignore yesterday, get back to our best, win our next 4 which includes Dundee and rovers, kick on and put ourselves in a very strong position for 2nd. Or We let yesterday dent our confidence, start playing negatively again, maybe only get 1 or 2 points from the next 4 and face a desperate scramble for 4th. Our runs of form are so random and unpredictable, it’s not like we can say we struggle when any particular player is unavailable/off form or it’s how one area of the team are playing. I’ve no idea what one to expect, but there is absolutely no chance we’ll put together a string of average performance and just tick over until the end of the season.

JoseMarooniho
From time to time it is this windy (or worse) at Gayfield. Teams that beat us in these conditions don’t tend to complain.
jm86
Last season we were 1-1 at half time, having played against a ridiculously strong wind. Their goal blew in straight from a corner. Ball seemed to turn through almost 60 degrees at front post. Not sure if either manager wanted the game to start, but I'm sure Mr Campbell wasn't too keen on the 2nd half going ahead. And sure enough the game was abandoned. As far as us Ayr fans were concerned this was a total travesty as the conditions had not got any worse. Despite a 260 ml round trip, we thought it would be a farce if the game went ahead, and that's how it turned out. But having started it should have finished.

Funnily enough our midweek trip to Somerset last season was played in full, in far worse conditions than that game.
