Is the argument that the panel is correct but it is not fair that Rangers got caught?

Yes, rangers want to dominate the tv money, media coverage etc whilst the rest of the league gets next to nothing even from the national broadcaster.

However, they’ve realised it comes with downsides and now that needs rectified.

Some of the excuses desperately trying to justify the SFAs discrepancies are truly wonderful.

'Sevco gets nearly all of the money while the rest of us gets pennies, so it's right that the rest of us get a free pass from the SFA'

More like if we’re going to talk inequalities in Scottish football let’s just add justifiable retrospective action to the queue of things to resolve.

Can you ever justify retroactive action in the event the ref has clearly seen the incident and decided on a yellow?

If the referee had seen the Roofe incident “clearly”, Roofe would have been sent off at the time. Just because he is looking at it doesn’t mean that he has seen it “clearly”. God forbid, but if the VAR had been at that match Roofe would have been sent off.

Looking at the shitshow that the PGMOL have made of VAR in England & the arseholes who are spouting threats because of it, I hate to think of what wild decisions glazially conscious VARs will come up with in Scotland to avoid their nearest & dearest being abused by groups of knuckledragging bigots who coincidentally support the two teams who will have the most to lose from it being introduced.

I agree it was a red. I agree that if VAR had been at the game he’s have walked. Can’t agree that Rangers players being cautioned for incidents the ref hasn’t seen benefits us long term. Or it’s a standard the rest of the league would agree too

He booked him, he obviously saw it.

VAR would be used in every game and every team would be on a level playing field.

You can’t see the difference between seeing something, and seeing something clearly? VAR is a nightmare.

VAR may or not be a nightmare but it won't affect only one club.

Starting with 11 players and ending with 11 players is the benefit, human error is not acceptable any more.
This is why we have a compliance officer and his 3 pals to re-referee the game 4 days later, the decision won't be made 4 days later with VAR.
The same guys will be making the decision just 4 days quicker.
