Morton vs Raith Rovers

I really feel for Morton fans having to watch a game on this surface every few weeks. Literally impossible to have a good game.

Erm yes, because if it was a bowling green surface then our star turns like Sean McGinty, Rabin Omar and Cameron Blues would recreating the Dutch total football style of the 1970s right now.

The pitch and the team's ability to shitfest and battle are about the only two things preventing a 2013/14 style campaign.

Some shitfest that.

Looked solid, third CB maybe helped us - always had extra cover. Kept Morton out of it, then again Morton's attack looked fairly anemic.

Hendry showed his worth, Spencer was good as well. Thought Abraham looked better when he came on.

Andy Richie worth the fee alone. Highlight probably the ref remembering he had his cards with him and booking more a goof chunk of our team inside of two minutes.

Refs going a bit card daft after not bothering his arse for 80 minutes

That was all our game management. Kept it tight and with 10 minutes to go we started going in heavier to tackles to waste a bit of time. Excellent result given the debacle mid-week. A tough game on a poor surface against an inconsistent team. Morton never troubled either of MacDonald or Thomson and we took the one chance which came along. Shout out to the Morton TV - they were excellent throughout the game and were happy to give credit where it was due to both teams.

All started when he didn’t give a foul for a clear push on one of our players over on the main stand side, might’ve been Armstrong.

Good set up for TonTV, thought the commentary was really good and the guys gave a really balanced broadcast so well done to them.

Ref was also decent today got most things right, Timmy Abrahams card was a wee bit harsh but Ref maybe thought it was cynical.

Good performance but not spectacular, defence were great today which I’ve been critical of so well done. Hendry the stand out as always. Morton looked comfortable on the ball and far better than the last game but lack anything up top. Overall happy with the result but we really should have got a second to make it safe and that’s credit to Morton for limiting our chances.

Thank f**k I don't have to watch another game on that pitch for a few weeks.

Starting to worry a bit now, we're just not showing anything these last few weeks and the players look a bit flat, after an initial good reaction when Hopkin left. Raith always looked like they could step things up if they needed to, without being anything great either.

Away to Caley Thistle/Hearts over the next 2 weeks, so not expecting much from those 2.
