After I probably broke the chess World record and managed to blunder a rook on move 2 then it was never going to end well. Got my pants well and truly pulled down. Well played. Good luck in the next round
SweeperDee
Cup game:Beaten by Paakman01 by checkmateKnew from the getgo I had a shite start, so much so my account got muted due to the expletives I was using in my attempted chats to Paakman to bemoan the fact I checkmated myself in less than 4 moves, fucking SHITE. Well played Paakman for seeing the jugular and going for it. Fucking hate 960.

Aim Here
Division A, Round 12 Eindhovendee channels his inner Deep Blue and strangles AimHere pretty much non-stop from the get-go. There's just 3 moves in this where the engine would have picked a different move from the one eindhovendee played. Eindhovendee beats AimHere by resignation.
Bigmouth Strikes Again
Got your challenge markf268 will need to wait until the game with Spur is finished though. Can't handle two games at once. Thank you.

cal234ey
Division B pakkman01 beats pnbmathematics & purplekangaroo by resignation. I tried a different opening against two players I've not had much success against before, seemed to do the trick. Both good games, thanks!
N5 Spur
Division C N5_Spur defeats The_kid1433 by checkmate. Tight game but my queen trapped the king on its file, with a bishop on the diagonal protecting the queen giving checkmate. Nice game, thanks.
invergowrie arab
Invergowrie beats Dandies 1983 by resignation. Very tight game until I managed to pin a rook. Nice to win with black too as my differential between the two is mental
EvilScotsman
Division B - RBWatson is soundly beaten by both Dandies1983 and PLeslie999. Well played @Frank Grimes and @pleslie99, I didn't feel I was ever in either game. For your delectation, I present..... From here: To here in 2 moves: Absolutely kicking myself as it was against a player rated 1379.

I didnt think you played too badly and analysis seems to agree, i was up a Knight early but was a pretty tight position but me having more active pieces was the difference I thought.
SweeperDee
I can only assume StuSco has withdrawn from this season no? No invite from him.
N5 Spur
N5_Spur defeats Strachanovski by checkmate. Another close game, ending wildly with both players throwing check around like knighthoods to shit tory MPs. A combination of a well placed bishop and an attacking rook won the game. Good game, thanks.

Send him the invitation yourself; that way he gets pinged if he logs on to chess.com or checks his email.

The shock/tilt from thinking about the first blunder can cause you to not give enough thought to the next move. It happens to all of us. Very similar to the old adage about buses. Stellaboz
Mackieboz defeats N5_Spur. GG, I think after I stole the rook it was one way traffic.

Indeed it was, I was going backwards from that point, and I was struggling with your aggressive play. Nicely done.

Loki
Cup Tie board_stupid defeats GCarlos9 by resignation. The good game, good game, w**k, w**k, good game, w**k pattern of the season continues with a couple of horrendous errors. All the best to you in the cup and I hope you’re victorious.
