Felt like I was especially hindered by the setup of the pieces, but Eindhoven Dee was imperious after the first part of the game. I was looking for checkmate after about 4 moves not that I expected to get it but it meant that I felt I was on top throughout. I messed up my move order early and played e6 rather than c6. Up until move 18 its level and I have a slight edge. Castling was the issue, it allowed my to push e5 and then capture d4 giving me a monster passed pawn. I'm not sure if castling queenside? or even playing the likes of f4 before (to stop e5) then castling would be more effective? Agree, that's the move order point I was referring to, because I played e6 rather than c6. With Elrohan having a sabbatical would it make more sense just to promote third place in B? And third bottom keeps their place. Also with two teams dropping out of League B I don’t think there is a need for playoffs there too. Although slightly different as Top Cat was going to lose every match he played and be relegated.
