Yes, there's room but just my preference for watching games is at Glencruitten!

Also what i'm taking as a strong hint that one might be an Argyll & Bute applicant. Forfar West End?

That was the only other newsworthy part of the podcast. The PWG is meeting today on the proposed Midland League. As Tayside is hedging their bets by talking with both Highland and Lowland it could have some impact on the WoSFL. Since them going Lowland changes the LL Pyramid Play-off in some way and participation in the SCC.

However, surely joining the WoSFL is all about forging stronger links with the community. Perhaps the real issue for Billy and his associates is that Glasgow Perthshire does not have a social club at Keppoch Park, Ashfield Street. This means they have no sustainable income stream and could well be struggling in terms of social contact with the community. https://nonleaguescotland.org.uk/glasgowperthshire.htm The old social club some 2 miles away at Springburn Road has been demolished. I hope that most of the new applicants to the WOSFL have their own social facilities or the prospect of developing a sustainable clubhouse. The Perthshire Social Club has been closed for decades.

Suppose its just the way its run, The Perthshire social club was a good catchment area Known many social clubs and supporters clubs which did fantastic in the past 40 years and some who haven't for various reason. I think all social clubs and supporters clubs have to adapt each year with the changing times. No doubt these clubs if done right can be a god-send for Football teams Edited March 30, 2021 by Bestsinceslicebread

If they could redevleop Glencruitten Park somehow it'd be a great facility. Then again, Cambeltown has a history of Junior football too... South Lochaber Thistle are in Highland territory I think, despite their current amateur forays. Just speculation and we'll all have a better idea about which club it may be but here's a link to the Campbeltown Former Pupils FC web site. It shows that they play at Limecraigs Road, Campbeltown, which is an enclosed ground with a railed pitch, changing facilities and car parking. Looks improvable without too many problems except cost(?). Looks like a decent set up. Campbeltown Pupils AFC | About Us (amateurfootballclub.co.uk) "The club at present plays in the SAFL Premier 1st Division. On the youth front, after a successful period in the Dumbartonshire Development League with our under 16s (2003s)team, the club's under-14s team (2005s) now plays its football as members of the Glasgow and District Youth Football League. A number of youngsters graduated to the Dumbarton FC Development Team, with Donald McCallum making the breakthrough by playing senior with Dumbarton FC in the SFL Championship. All of this augers well, but we still have a lot of work in front of us to achieve our ultimate aspirations. So far, Campbeltown Community Football Club and its membership - with our own club as top of the pyramid pathway - have achieved the SFA Quality Mark Standard Award (Bronze) in 2013, the Development Award (Silver) in 2015, and is one of only seven clubs in the West of Scotland to achieve the Community Club Award - (Gold). 'We are of one mind, one effort - one Campbeltown!' "
