Irrational Behaviour
Can't imagine many of our support are looking forward to this. Motherwell have a handy record at Pittodrie too. I suspect we'll have numerous players out of this fixture due to injury: Leigh, McCrorie, Taylor, Devlin, Hayes and McGeouch. For me, we need to change to a back four again. 3-4-3 hasn't worked for us since the injury of Watkins and the Main/Cosgrove partnership has never paid off. Assuming the above players are missing, I think we'll go along the lines of: Lewis Logan, Hoban, Considine, Ngwenya Ferguson, Campbell Kennedy, Hedges, McLennan Main
Swello
As long as Dependable Joe Lewis is in goals, most Motherwell supporters will be quite happy.
Dons_1988
Motherwell again?
10menwent2mow
Having watched most of the game at Fir Park I can only see this being an absolutely turgid watch. Then again, Alexander may set Motherwell up slightly more attacking than they were that day. An absolutely honking 1-0 Aberdeen I'd say.

betting competition
This thread needs a bit of positivity: It is 300 minutes since Aberdeen scored against Motherwell (Zak Vyner in October 2019) Edited January 18, 2021 by betting competition
Guest Bob Mahelp
Given our current state of affairs, it's hard to think of a worse game coming up than this one.

I think all of the next four games coming up have a chance of being equally honking for us. The Livi double bill in particular fills me with dread considering how we’re playing.

No pre-game agreements necessary.
YassinMoutaouakil
We seem like the more confident set of fans going into this one so obviously 3-0 Aberdeen.
thisGRAEME
Motherwell win. If not, Alexander out. He must be aware that standards must be maintained.

boozyBJ
More of the same, great for 45 minutes, backs to the wall for the 2nd 45. It's Aberdeen though, so 3-0 Well.

This has been a really weird fixture for the past few years - that 3-0 earlier in the season and the one where Danny Johnson scored a double at Fir Park and we also won 3-0 were totally out of the blue. Similarly, Aberdeen absolutely hammered us 3-0 at Fir Park in Oct 2019 in what most folk thought would be a close one as we were on good form at the time.
