That both our supposedly starting fullbacks, one we paid a fee for, are replaced for makeshift ones just doesn't sound good tbh. Is he definitely not playing three at the back?

eez-eh 2,453 Report post Posted January 23 Even leaving aside the fact I’ve got no idea how that defence is going to line up, Murdoch and Chalmers haven’t worked as a midfield all season. Really don’t know why we persist with it.

The fluidity of that front 3 could work well in changing positions in the front 3. I’d like to see McKenzie be given a chance in the central role, but don’t see it. Maybe he's done this but with four. I like Miller in for Reading, it's all heedurs with Dunfermline and oor Paddy needs work on that.
Dunning1874 10,778 Report post Posted January 23 Would Chalmers at left back not make more sense than Miller?

Chalmers is never a left back, the guy can't run, header or tackle. He's in midfield because he's a decent passer of the ball and that's about all he offers. Miller has played both left and right back this season. Might be on the right today with Nbada left. Edited January 23 by itzdrk
Lochwood 124 Report post Posted January 23 Once again players not playing there positions, I rest my case two natural full backs neither playing one he signed and the other he gave a contract too absolutely baffling.

CallumPar 291 Report post Posted January 23 That’s probably our best XI we have fielded tbh Agree with that. Expect it to be a 4-2-3-1 type system, with Turner playing that attacking midfield role. Think he could be the difference today.

Dunning1874 10,778 Report post Posted January 23 I've never actually seen him play at full back, just knew it had been said that he could. Couldn't imagine Miller being any good on the left which is why I was wondering.

Dunfermline have done it with us a few times IIRC when Moffat and Geggan were in your side. Probably they 2 that would mention to switch ends.

I wonder if it's to do with bitrate. 1.5mbps is quite low by my understanding but I don't know what is normal on ParsTV
