Dunfermline v Ayr

Blame the pitch.

Doubt you'll have many better grass pitches this time of the year, ball seems to be travelling well hence why both teams are happy with passing the ball around.

Neither team are achieving absolutely fucking anything with it though, this is everything to do with both teams looking clueless with regards to scoring a goal, or even testing the keeper.

One move of Dunfermline's would pass for that so far but aye.

Aye? I genuinely can't remember it.

Yet another turgid shite Mark Kerr performance then.

Still better than the other option which is conceding three goals in six minutes, but still time for that.

Highlights of the first half are the repeated comments about Ayr’s back 3/wing backs, when they’re playing a 4-2-3-1 (even the BBC have got Ayr’s formation right!).

Also enjoyed the comedy value of the commentators watching 3 years of Moffat at East End and calling him a natural goal scorer.

Two Jack Baird's as well!

A whole load of nothing.

We're really in the midst of a Crawford run here. 2 goals in 3 in a half games. Awful stuff.

We're slow and ponderous. Again we don't seem to know what we're doing when attacking. It's wee passes around the box that grinds momentum to nothing. No chances are being made and no shots are being taken.

If we fail to win today, that will be a quarter of the season without a win, which just isn't good enough.

We are a boring team.

Need to play with more tempo have a go at teams more often. Far too safe and predictable. McManus is a worker but as a lone striker he has crap ball control. We need somebody who can hold the ball up and bring others into play.
