Football by Film
Hello everyone, i have been asked to write an article for an upcoming magazine piece and I’m looking at focussing on Scottish Football’s iconic pie huts/refreshment stands around the grounds! I’ve already got the iconic pie hut from Arbroath but where else do you think should feature and can anyone help with access to take some photos at them? Thanks

A Believer
When based at Ochilview, the snack bar for East Strirlingshire matches was peerless. The ladies who ran it sold home made sausage rolls of utterly eye-rolling quality. The pies and home made soup was also outstanding.

Thanks Haddington Athletic and Dundonald Bluebell deserve a mention. Standard lower league widden hatch huts serving the greatest pies and home made soup I’ve had at football.

The pies needed a drain valve to let the grease out but strangely one was never enough.

Maybe that's changed now though.
