ebobsboy 332 Report post Posted February 10 So it's ok for Hearts to go up and no playoffs for the likes of Dunfermline, Dundee etc. At the top of the championship, I think not.

I'd imagine the club position will be the same tbh. It's in their interests to take that line.
East Coast Warrior 18 Report post Posted February 10 7 hours ago, Nightmare said: I wonder if the clubs affected may try and propose some kind of reconstruction if this ‘no promotion or relegation from L1 down’ scenario does end up happening. Expand to 12-12-10-10 with no relegations and two up from L1, L2 and the HL/LL winners. Seems reasonable. Now watch them turn the 12-12 leagues into that 8-8-8 split idea. The Simpsons monkey paw League Reconstruction!
jagsfan57 69 Report post Posted February 11 Promotion from Champ to Prem would still go ahead they're saying. No one would be relegated to League 1, nor would the champions of this division go up. I'm not sure what the justification would be, I imagine some "sporting integrity" about teams playing the same number of games will be pushed by Mike Mulraney as he tries to snake his Alloa team into next seasons Championship. There aren’t the same number of games played in the Premiership and the championship.
