Thistle vs Cowdenbeath - 23rd March

I've taken to watching on mute as you don't really miss any atmosphere with no crowd and Michael Max getting everyone's name wrong and saying we're playing much better than we actually are (I get he has to be positive) is wearing.

Gordon with his usual score and disappear act and Cardle always seems to play better off the bench. Good run by Tiffoney for the goal but we've hardly got him involved since.

Cowden #10 Swann is more dangerous than any of our players.

Still pretty wasteful (not to mention 2 fairly stick on penalties in the second half being denied) but hopefully Rudden getting his first goal gives him a bit of a boost.

Also think we're still better suited to 352 but Tiffoney gives us a bit of pace on the wing which we have nowhere else in the team.

Worry is that on Saturday we revert to the setup vs Cove.

Don't want to get too carried away, given the quality of the opposition, but when we actually deploy attacking players we look a much more threatening side.

Tiffoney gives us something we have sorely needed from the start of the season, pace and directness, Sena was a bit ropey again tonight but think that's down to him trying too hard to keep his place in the side with the restart.

Hopefully this is finally lift-off for Rudden, been far too many false dawns with him.
