Missed our last two penalties and lost our one shoot-out this season.

If it gets there I don't think we are heading for a classic penalty shoot- out.

Bobbly pitch - half of them will be over the bar.

Remember troops, putting the ball either side of the goalkeeper is your best chance at scoring, not straight at him with minimal pace. Hopefully someone can somehow manage to put the ball in the net before it gets to that point.

My favourite thing about this is that the Scottish Cup Twitter page used an image of Morton v Dunfermline alongside ‘scintillating’ in promoting this evening’s fixtures.

This fixture is, and has been for years, anything but scintillating.

This feels like one of BBC Scotland's Friday night efforts.

You could have told me this is a repeat of the game in January and I wouldn’t have known the difference until it went to extra time. 3 horrendous games of football between these 2 sides in the last few months.

That being said, this is what all of our games are like just now. Not just against Morton.

Our last Twitter update, which is usually pretty active during the game, is announcing the start of the second period of extra time.

That speaks volumes for how utterly shite this game must be.
