Looking at Rangers, we'd need to have 58 players all earning nearly £14k a week.

Back to the drawing board methinks, Aberdeens figures are even wilder as they would have 106 at the max salary.

When you look at those salary figures no wonder NS has no sympathy for the SPFL teams.
Thats why they have been offered loans not grants.
 

a) As has been discussed at great length already, these numbers are a complete work of fiction.

b) Many, probably over half at least, of these clubs are spending within their means based on their normal income, meaning that they are sustainable businesses. A large percentage of that income is via gate receipts, which has been wiped out this season through a government decision. I don't see why these clubs are any less deserving of support than lower league clubs who have the exact same issue, only at a smaller scale.

Some pretty solid maths from the boy then.  For the avoidance of doubt it's nowt to do with me, I just liked the numbers.
