Killie v St Mirren

Recommended Posts

FT 1-1

Yeah take that, good point on the road and stops Killie from going above us. Was sure that was fading out to a 1-0 defeat, we were really struggling to create anything.

Then Danny Rogers caught a nothing ball and walked back into his goal with it. Fantastic stuff. Hard to tell for sure if it was over the line with the TV angles but I thought it was on first viewing and the Saints players around him all screamed for it instantly.

Performance wise that’s the worst we’ve been for a long time. Never got going at all. Players looked leggy and struggled with the surface and apart from a Shaughnessy header from a corner which Rogers saved well we didn’t really have a chance. Suppose it’s a good sign that we can go to Rugby Park, play terribly and still not lose.

Best player for us... JDH maybe? Can’t think of anyone else playing well. And don’t put Mason at left back again please, he was making Burke look like Ronaldo all game.

Poorest Saints have been all season - I think even in our long run of defeats we didn’t play quite as badly.

So delighted with that point.

Did look like Rodgers took the ball over the line. Strangely it was his second movement that seemed to do it when he bizarrely started to bring the ball to his chest.

One of the least deserved points we’ve ever had but we’ll take it, that was funny as f**k.

We have to be miles better than that in the next few games. It shows how important Tait is to the team and how bad we are in midfield when Erhahon and Doyle-Hayes aren’t at their best.

Mason had a nightmare but he was hung out to dry a bit, he had no support from McAllister or Connolly ahead of him. Very odd subs from Jim again too.

What game were you watching? Yes we were poor,  but Killie definitely weren't any better.

The draw was the fair result.

Yeah it was very odd. He clearly catches it before the line, takes three steps back with it in his hands, then looks straight to the linesman as if he knows he’s fucked it. It’s close either way, glad we don’t have goal line technology though...
