I know we don’t have too much scope to ring the changes, but if it’s the kind of team Robinson would put out then that would rule Lasley out of the job for me. Swello Posted January 1, 2021 Share Posted January 1, 2021 We've been hugely insipid this season - even when we have played decently (and we have done on occasion), there's been a real lack of dig about us. I think our players have got very comfortable with no supporters in and it has certainly had the appearance of a training game at times. I know the tactics and shape of the team is far more important in the grand scheme of things, but if I'm allowed to be a bit yer da about it, comparing the effort levels of the current squad with what we saw in the Thunderdome days under Robinson, it's a bit of an embarrassment. The players have rightly been taking some stick over the resignation of Robinson and obviously players like Gallacher have taken a bit of umbrage to it - I'd at least like to see a bit of reaction from them as there's little doubt that they contributed hugely to Robbo going. We all know this isn't the biggest derby game going but it would be nice if they players had a bit of fight for once. My main concern is that we give away at least one soft goal in every game and when we do, we seem unable to shake it off. Lots of questions now regarding any changes Las will make and how the players react to the change. I’m generally quite confident when we play away to Hamilton as we generally do well not just with the wins but also tend to be the better team.
