Rangers vs Celtic - January 2nd

Recommended Posts

Concerning we haven’t scored considering how dominant that first half has been. Can do nothing about McGregors save, that was outstanding however final balls from both full backs have been really poor.

Rangers are properly rattled but we need to score

The only positive for Rangers fans that first half is that it's still 0-0.

Aribo is a talented player, but he's been a man short today. Constantly giving the ball away in poor areas and not affecting the game in any positive way.

Roofe and Morelos have been really poor as well, at least Kent had had a few moments.

Rangers missing Arfield and Jack massively and they don't really have many options on the bench you think could improve the midfield/forward issues.

Celtic have been excellent. Haven't given Rangers a second on the ball, haven't let them play out, forcing Rangers to go long and play off seconds which is impossible when your midfield is so deep. They look more mobile than Rangers all over the park as well.

They'll be worried that it's still 0-0 though, as Rangers surely can't be as poor in the second half. Gerrard now has a chance to sort out the issues. Celtic will kick themselves of they've missed their chance having been so dominant for 45.

As much as Lennon has come in for stick recently, tactically, he won the first half. They really should be ahead. Rangers haven't been in the game at all.

Celtic the better side. Aribo been poor and we are missing Jack/Arfield as issue is we have little options to replace him with.

The diamond is working for them - middle is very crowded. We need to get it wide quicker.

I quite like Eilidh Barbour as a presenter. Not sure about the Phil Oakey hair though.

She is the only one that looks like they were prepared to be on TV today. McFadden, Boyd and Petrov all look like they just rolled out of bed.

McFadden even grabbed his bird's jacket by mistake on the way out the door.

Speaks volumes of the OF that there has to be a police horse at an empty stadium

They probably still expected fans to show up and cheer their team off the bus etc.  Rangers and Celtic fans are complete man-childs.
