Heart of Midlothian vs Arbroath

Recommended Posts

Last time out Arbroath lost but delivered a gritty performance which certainly tempered the exuberance that had been generated by hearts destroying Dundee on opening day.

With home advantage and without the distraction of a looming derby semifinal I’d hope that things will be more comfortable this time but Dick Campbell will have other ideas

The emotional cost of witnessing your daft wee team being steamrollered will be far greater.

The same "daft wee team" that your "International" team struggled to beat a couple of months ago and but for a world class save from your "International" goalkeeper it would/should have been a draw?

Smokies & Wine, 36-0 Ya Bass!

If we play with a tempo and actual purpose off the bat I'm confident of winning comfortably. If we come out knocking it about almost expecting to win Arbroath are well organised enough to frustrate us. I'd bring Haring in as well as Naismith, Walker and Wighton. Those 3 behind Boyce with Frear and Roberts in the stand. Ginnelly for Walker if he's fit but I assume he's the one with Covid.

Having thought about it and even though it is definitely a steep price and the most expensive in the league, if we were actually attending the game this evening it would have been far more expensive for myself, the wife and my kid to get in. Plus the travelling costs and pre match aperitifs. Hopefully the Lichties can put in a decent show for the supporters who have paid to watch it. A draw would be tremendous
