Moomintroll
Wasn't really sure where to put this, but sadly I have heard today that Davie has died today through Covid. Played for a few teams, most notably The 'Medda & AWR, & was a somewhat divisive (total windup merchant) coach & manager, but was also an excellent PE Teacher who helped many people at a formative age, myself included. RIP Davie.
clash city rocker
Sad sad news. Won Scottish Cup with Kilbirnie in 1977 and later a coach. Was also a fantastic player for Beith , Winton , Saltcoats etc. Was still playing over 50s until not long ago funny man will be sadly missed
WilliamBragg
Sad day for football. Absolutely loved him at Beith. Along with Sal, Ian Balmer and Stuart Hodge my original football heroes. RIP wee man.

Black Pennel
Saddened to read this news. Smashing wee player, but more importantly a genuinely nice wee man. Thoughts go out to his family.
Marlowe
A sad loss to the football world in Ayrshire. Played with and against Davie in our youth in bounce games on the beachfront grass at Ardrossan and Saltcoats as well as at Laighdykes. He was one of those who should have been playing at a higher level, highly skilled, RIP Davie
