Fuchs has looked nice and tidy tonight and win balls where he needed to.

Maybe it's a lazy ethnic comparison but very Gomis like

I’m not paying particular attention to it but they seem to have a very similar ability to wipe out players with a faint nudge of the arse.

It's almost like having a proper* midfielder in midfield is a good thing.

And I know its sacrilege to praise Pawlett, but I think I prefer him alongside Fuchs to Butcher.

*proper = someone who actually wants the ball.

His ability to break up play is excellent. Can read the game and gets wired in. His distribution is awful though. Im warming to him due to his work rate but he needs to work on his decision making

Killie, I thought, were easily better than United until McNulty scored. The quick second knocked confidence out of the side.

An early away goal in the second half may well panic United, it did previously this season at Tannadice when a two gaol lead was nervously seen out as a single goal win against (10 man) St Mirren.

It would have f*ckin panicked us never mind United.....

630 minutes since we last scored.

1) Fuchs; a player I was quick to judge - and in fairness didn't look fit when he first arrived - well, what a turnaround. Sensational performance.

2) Great way to finish up for Christmas. 4-4-2 was so much better, but something we all knew already. With a 4-4-2 for 130 minutes v Hibs and Kilmarnock that's a three - nil scoreline. And enjoyable football at that too. Happy Christmas Arabs!

Worrying times for us dropping down the league fast.

The board dont look like the are going to get rid of Dyer and i fear he will take us down

Don’t see Killie being in relegation bother with or without Dyer.  Hamilton and Ross County look fair bit worse.

Wow. That was actually...quite good. Shankland good. McNulty good. Fuchs very good. We're not a bad team when we put our minds to it.

I thought we were actually pretty crap... up to the moment when McNulty scored.

The game changed after that.

Fuchs is the midfielder we’ve been crying out for for years. Does Butcher’s job but gets around the park better and wants the ball.
