Arbroath vs Ayr United

The players on the pitch play to a certain formation - no one in the starting side could drop in to midfield to make it more turgid. You can’t pick a team to play against the wind when you don’t know if you are actually playing against the wind. Pretty simple.

I don’t think having Miller in there would be making any difference.

What, is that like one of the Ten Commandments or something?  We can’t ask smith and McCowan to drop deeper and provide  some cover for the full backs?  We can’t ask Moffat to drop deeper and get a bit closer to Chalmers and Murdoch?
And in the bigger picture, the 4-2-3-1 approach hasn’t  looked right all season.  Wind or no wind, we should never be lining up that way against a battling Arbroath side.

Of course we can, but the issue isn’t necessarily the line up but is just being utter shite. Irrelevant anyway as we’ve been dreadful regardless of the wind! 🙈
