Rarely get upset about celebrity deaths, but this one is genuinely sad. He was hilarious. Once Tom Lehrer goes, that'll be it for me.

I feel the same.....tragic news.  I have seen him live a couple of times and he was brilliant.  Incredibly i was watching some clips of him on you tube last night...including the above carrot in a box....absolutely shocked at the news today

I recall from the last time I saw Sean Lock (Music Hall, Aberdeen) a wee skit about a couple of apps he has invented for smart phones:

First one is really clever and will send you a reminder to put the bins out for the following morning....really useful.  The other was an app that made your phone vibrate and flash up a name everytime someone in your contacts was watching porn....."gonna make millions"

Watched a heap of clips last night....so so sad.....Bill Hicks and Sean Lock....its going to be some laugh up there

Incidentally, has anyone ever seen 15 floors up - a sitcom with Sean....never even heard of it until last night.....any good?

The man in the middle at one of the classic football manager spats...

That is brilliant tv....2 great guests and an interviewer prepared to ask questions that really make the managers uncomfortable....and even better Managers who will answer those awkward questions rather than give bland and boring non-comital answers

I've never seen it but I've heard good things about it (hopefully not all just because he died). All the episodes appear to be on Youtube.

Yes, that was great to watch. Reminds me a lot of the old Question Time from around that era where politicians actually answered the question without trying to point score too much  over others on the panel. A completely different generation.
