Julie Wrist-Strain back in the day

Apparently not deid though.

Apparently she is, just need to wait on a qualifying obit.

Closest so far is an offhand mention in a (paywalled) opinion column in the Times.

Would imagine the Mail Online or some other highbrow outfit will get round to it, its a pain waiting though. 😀

Think you might be picking up on false claims from a year ago!?

Nope.  From that article that I linked to earlier

"Last January, it was mistakenly announced that B-movie legend and 1993 Penthouse Pet of the Year Julie Strain had passed away. The announcement was quickly retracted - but in a sad twist of fate, friends and family are confirming that Strain has passed away almost one year to the day after that erroneous report. She was 58 years old."

Does it mention that she's deid?

You can see it in the link, just before it fades out to the paywall nag screen:

'... the likes of Albert Roux, Michael Apted, Bond girl Tanya Roberts, the Indian novelist Ved Mehta, Julie Strain out of Naked Gun 33⅓ and the Irish racehorse Zoffany have already been mown down like so many dogs ..."

In the absence of a Daily Mail obituary, it'll come down to an umpire's adjudication as to whether an offhand, probably unfactchecked, mention in a weak, bottom-of-the-barrel filler article by the shitiest member of the Coren clan constitutes a legit confirmation/obituary. For comparison, the other names in his list of third-stringers and remind-me-who-the-f**k-they-were-again celebrities that have died in 2021 so far includes two names (Ved Mehta and some racehorse that won three races in 2010) that didn't even warrant a qualifying UK obituary, even if dead horses were allowed in the game.

You guys are right into this eh? Is there a Caribbean holiday at stake that I didn’t know about?

With Bullingdon Bully Boris and Numpty Nicky keeping us under house arrest indefinitely?

Most folk are just bored to death with lockdown and the endless repeats on the telly.

I wasn't quoting you. I was responding to tamthebam's suggestion that she wasn't dead.
