James Earl Jones (Lion King)

Michael Caine (The Man who would be King)

Christopher Plummer (The Man who played Rudyard Kipling in The Man who would be King)

Leslie Phillips (King Ferdinand in Carry on Columbus)

Derek Jacobi (The King in Cinderella)

Anthony Hopkins (King Lear)

Rita Moreno (starred in The King and I film)

He could have had Linda Thorson who was Tara King in the Avengers or Sophie Marceau who was Elektra King in the World is Not Enough and perhaps counts as a Bond girl too although Sophie is a mere 54 years old.

David McKee was 86 the other day- he wrote King Rollo.

Or Frank McAvennie as he often gets his Nat King...

There's more - Carole King would be a good choice.

Plus Si King (Hairy Bikers) , Simon King (naturalist and broadcaster) and Roger King (keyboards for Steve Hackett).

Sir Kenneth Branagh directed and starred as King Henry V. Colin Firth was George VI. Damian Lewis played Henry VIII in Wolf Hall.

Carole King is already one of his choices, and none of the others seem like better picks than the guys he already picked. I wouldn't swap out Larry or Don King for Kenneth Branagh, for instance.

What about Brechin City legend Charlie King?
