Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Well what a fucking embarassing shambles that was. Christ knows what Duffy is playing at with that lineup and shape. Some proper comedy defending and going forward we have zero pace, zero creativity and no one making any sort of run. How he can think Johnstone os a better option than Wilson is beyond me. The midfield is non-existant and Hamilton in particular looks terrified to make a tackle. Slapheid has clearly rocked up here looking to shitfest a 0-0 and it has backfired spectacularly. If we kick off the second half with the same shape we will get shagged.
FifeSons
Church has nothing and I don’t understand why we aren’t playing Wilson.
O'Kelly Isley III
The middle of the park has been a very even contest in that first-half, but what has happened at the ends has painfully exposed all our shortcomings.Let's give Montrose some credit, so far they've opened us up in a way that other teams have largely failed to - that's the sign of a decent, organised side.
FifeSons
Every cross we’ve had has pathetically floated straight into their keeper’s hands.

PortyMo
Same again please Mo. Early strike to finish it off.

I would argue that the midfield aren't particularly covering themselves in glory. Nobody is tracking runners and I have lost track how many times a Montrose player has eased through our midfield and defence. They have looked comfortable but (as I previously mentioned) they haven't had to work hard or show any particular high standards of play for any of their goals.

super-son
I don't know about it being over yet. We only need to wait 20 minutes or so and then we will have Jones on the park!

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Ross Forbes has completely chucked it here. Duffy has to make a change asap.
super-son
That's now the 3rd or 4th freekick Forbes has overhit crossing I to the box. Just not good enough for a player who is offering little else.

The Moonster
Shrewd of Duffy to continue with the same shape and players after an hour of being pumped. Soon the Montrose lads will be in a false sense of security and we'll knick 3 goals.
GordyBrow
Nice Prunty tribute from Denny there.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Has Duffy fallen asleep or is he just that much of an old baldy fud that he’s forgot you can make substitutes?
O'Kelly Isley III
We might still get something out of this... apparently two Montrose players have tested positive for sweat.
super-son
FFS what's the point in bringing on our 7ft striker when Forbes cant hit a barn door with these crosses.
The Moonster
Probably the poorest we've seen under Duffy. Nobody confident on the ball, gameplan unknown, players in wrong positions. Monstrose are yet again everything I'd love to see from a Dumbarton side. Must be nice going into games expecting to score rather than wondering if you'll get a chance.
