I think we'll get to 30 points which would likely be a minimum target for safety elsewhere. Possibly 32-33 if Hearts are on the beach by then as well.

Arbroath's run-in is decent but from the outside they just don't look capable of actually winning those games right now. They did in the second round of fixtures though, so if they can repeat that performance then it'll be a tight finish.

As has been bandied about all season, 30 points pretty much assures at least eighth place in a 27 game season. There are, always, outlier seasons, but the pure evenness of this season both works for and against that thought. Without a clear laggard, and with teams cannibalizing each other for points in the  somewhat unusual manner of this season, Hearts taking the foot off the pedal could be a reason that 30 isn’t enough...but I suspect that the pressure on Hearts will ensure they play the string out to the best of their, questionable, ability.

It does seem the reduced planning time and adjusted signing options that this season presented made for a more interesting season for all but Hearts. it also might be interesting to recalculate the current standing if the QoS run didn’t occur, and see how the table would change.

You mean the run at the start of the season? Take out the first 9 games and we'd be top ... thanks :)

It can be taken either way, that’s for sure. Been a topsy-turvy season for sure.

It is quite terrifying that Arbroath have the better fixtures there...

While it goes against the logic that a draw is best resulting in the minimum points shared between Alloa and Arbroath having seen the fixtures an Alloa win might be best for us.

That being the case Arbroath shouldn't get more than 28 points.

We will deserve to go down if we only get 3 points from last five games.

Aye, can't see Alloa pulling it back now. Historically in this division they've always clawed for every point. On the few occasions I've saw them this season they don't look like the same team.

Be happy for them to go down tbh purely down to the fact our record against them is appalling.

Loving these graphic posts which peeps are posting -great to see some humour on these forums.
So, Morton, Ayr and Arbroath now all in the mix for the relegation play offs.
C'mon the 'broath.
We're not out the woods yet either. By the end of our next game we could potentially be 8th spot 2 point in front of 9th. It would take some mental results for that to be the case but this league has thrown up more than few crazy results this season so wouldn't back against it happening.
