I don't see why you thought right back is a problem area

O Donnell

Palmer

Tierney

Paterson

Un caooed

Hickey

Grimmer

Fredericks if we can get him

Kane

We are more short on wings and upfront to replace anybody who has pace

And maybe short of a quality center back or two

J Paterson

S Dembele

Caulker

Elliott

Could fix this even if we don't get Adams and Grant

Young guy looks good though but he shouldn't be near a call up if he is not starting like the others are at good levels

Side note Matt Ritchie and Matt Phillips looking good here on the wing who haven't had a look in off late dunno if they retired or not for Scotland

Hickey plays left-back week in - week out.
what evidence is there he can play right wing back (well)?

The fact that he's naturally right footed would suggest that he'd probably manage it without an issue.

Also hes played there before, and considers himself to be just as comfortable there as on the left.

I'd also like to see "Un caood" given a chance, im not sure who he is. But his name is fantastic.

On a serious note, the problem clearly is. Of the names you mention, Tierney hasn't played there much. "Un caood" doesn't exist as a person. Frederick's were not sure will even play for us. Hickey is very young.

And the rest are a bit shite.

So that the problem, and why its a problem position.

I'm not sure - Tavernier's 29 now, there aren't many players that age that move from a smaller league to the EPL. And he's only 18 months left on his deal, so I don't think he'd be worth more to an EPL team than he is to Rangers. But you never know I guess. I think he's more likely to sign a Bosman deal somewhere in England than command a big fee.
Colour me surprised! I thought he was still 26/27.
Yeah unlikely to get a big bucks move now.

Lad Ngwenya made his debut for Aberdeen today.  Only 17, tipped to be a star.

He's a left-back. So that's good, cause we're really short of those. Hopefully he can play centre half.

We are not that short of left sided central defenders either

I got Fraser Hornby to be an 83 in ProEvo so I think he's worth a shot.  Just keep sticking the ball in the box he gets his noggin on it every time.
