Scary Bear
I like it. I generally make Scotch Broth (without meat), lentil, or leek and potato (sometimes with salmon). I haven’t had the stuff in cans for a while. Edited December 10, 2020 by Scary Bear

I now have Limmy's Turkish Delight tune in my head, but with 'soup' instead of Turkish Delight. I like it. I like soup. I don't like it enough to buy it every day, or every week, in fact I can't remember the last time I bough some soup. But every now and then I'll be in a shop, and I'll walk past the shelves with all the tins, and I'll see some soup... and I'll get it. It's nice, I like it. I like soup.
Honest Saints Fan
Love soup. Minestrone is my favourite. Just fling anything we have left over in the fridge. Been making a lovely roasted tomato and red pepper soup the last few weeks. Tinned soup is absolutely shite. Flavourless shite.

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Home made mushroom soup is great. Chopped onion, garlic, chicken stock and chopped mushrooms. Simmer for 30 minutes then add some decent sherry, cook out for 10 minutes then blitz and add cream when serving. I haven't made it for a while so you'll have to guess the amounts, add the sherry to taste, add a bit at a time.
Deanburn Dave
Celeriac is a great addition to vegetable soup.
Deanburn Dave
A few celery haters on here. Probably due to too much getting added.A stalk (or two) of celery in a good sized pot of vegetable soup adds a nice bit of flavour. Or go "baws deep" and make cream of celery. Yummy

Outstanding stuff. That's wall paper password paste with a few vegetables added. I could teach you to make better. Spicy, lentil and tomato with bacon. Chicken and rice, broccoli and blue cheese, pea and ham etc etc. Done some Ramen and pho, do they count? resk
Spicy lentil and carrot soup. Recipe - get some lentils together, get some carrots together, onion, garlic, tomato, veggie stock, salt, pepper, chili powder (a lot), rosemary if you have it, cook. Blend. Eat, refrigerate, freeze. Sorted.
